Last week PEPY received a batch of 100 brand new green XO computers to share with the children of Chanleas Dai. Last year PEPY introduced its first 100 “One-Laptop-Per-Child” XO computers, commencing a critical thinking and project-based XO program for 4th-6th graders. These computers have been a huge hit with our students, particularly the “Scratch” application, an MIT-designed program, where students are able to learn easy programming skills, sharpen critical thinking, improve mathematics and science skills, and even strengthen their Khmer literacy!
Check out the projects students from Chanleas Dai have created this year here.
