Back in January, we shared with you a blog about Ravy, one of PEPY Empowering Youth’s pioneering Scholarship students. We thought that you may like to meet this inspiring young man in person, and therefore we worked with Ravy to create a video, so that you can learn more about him and what is he is currently up to.
As a reminder: Ravy is one of PEPY’s first scholarship students; in 2012 he became one of two students from Kralanh to move to Siem Reap, in order to attend university. Ravy is currently in his third year at Build Bright University, where he is studying for a degree in Marketing. During his first two years of study, Ravy also regularly attended lessons at the PEPY Empowering Youth Learning Center, where he developed soft skills, such as English, ICT, leadership, communication and teamwork skills. These skills have enabled Ravy to secure full-time employment at Pour un Sourire l’Enfant (PSE), where his responsibilities include accounting and administration tasks.
Ravy’s boss speaks highly of him, and his grandparents are delighted with his success so far; they are proud of the hard work Ravy has committed to achieve such accomplishments, both at work and univeristy. These are sentiments shared by everyone in the PEPY Empowering Youth team, and we would like to wish Ravy all the best for the future!
Watch the video below to find out more about Ravy, his achievements and dreams for the future.
