On the way to Camp Sangamon

After over 24 hours of travel, students Seiha, Sengya, Chunly, Sobin, and PEPY staff members Awatd and Sarakk arrived at JFK exhausted and excited. They had just enough time for a bit of sleep and a whirlwind tour of NYC before boarding a plane to camp in Vermont. The pictures below show their travels through the city, and their arrival at camp on the first day. Highlights of the day in New York included a new-found love of grapes and cereal, cricks on our necks from looking at the skyscrapers, a ride in the subway, seeing street performers in Central Park, and astonishment at the bridges and tunnels of Manhattan.
