Hot off the press! Students in PEPY’s Creative Writing Workshop share their stories

We held our second annual writing workshop this summer for Junior High and High School students in Chanleas Dai. The workshop was facilitated by Ream Nuon, who has recently published a few short stories of his own. During the workshop, the students studied the foundations of writing and drawing. After learning the basics of storytelling, students wrote and illustrated their own adventures. By the end of the workshop, the students had created 12 original short stories. Over the next year we'll be sharing all these stories with you, translated from Khmer to English, as a regular feature of our monthly newsletter.
