If you have ever visited PEPY or felt inspired by our community after learning about our work, there are a few ways you can help amplify our mission and share our story as an ambassador.
PEPY Ambassadors spread the word about our work and help us build our network of advocates and supporters. Usually, they are PEPY visitors or volunteers, but we have even had ambassadors who have just heard about our work. Ambassadors hold events, fundraisers, or promote PEPY on social media. Our Partnerships and Development Team works closely with ambassadors who put together awesome fundraising campaigns or events.

Examples of applicable events or activities can include but are not limited to:
-> Movie Night focused on Cambodian culture and history
-> Inviting a speaker from our community to a school or club meeting
-> Hosting a book club with literature centered on Cambodian contemporary or ancient history
-> International Food Event or bake sale incorporating traditional Khmer foods
-> Auction featuring the art of some of our students
PEPY Ambassador Benefits:
Being an ambassador is an extremely rewarding experience! It will connect you to a beautiful culture, give you a great sense of accomplishment, and can contribute to your professional development. For example, ambassadors will develop fundraising and/or event management skills under the mentorship of our team that can be applied to other professional opportunities. In addition, the Partnerships and Development Team is happy to provide recommendation letters when requested/applicable!
