PEPY Empowering Youth

"My name is Cherub Savong , and I joined PEPY Empowering Youth after graduating from Varin High School in 2021. I come from a farming family in Varin District, Siem Reap Province. My family has faced financial difficulties, and sometimes I thought about stopping my studies to help my parents. However, I always believed that education could help me build a better future for myself and my family. My experience at PEPY was life changing. I learned English, computer skills, and important life skills. I became more confident in communicating with others and learned how to manage my time and money, plan for my future, and believe in myself. These skills encouraged me to continue my education and pursue my dream. After PEPY, I continued my studies and graduated from Vanda University with a degree in accounting tax audit. Currently, I am working as an Accountant at Free To Shine Organization. I am proud of how far I have come, and I believe that PEPY played an important role in my journey. I hope my story can encourage other young people, especially those facing financial challenges, to continue their education and never give up on their dreams. I believe that with determination, education, and the right support, we can overcome challenges and create a better future for ourselves, our families, and our communities.".
